HERITAGE
de Sanbor Consulting was founded in 1990 in Washington, DC by researchers who met at the United States Naval Research Laboratory. In addition to work on defense imaging and artificial intelligence, they were involved in pure and applied research into non-military uses for the "World Wide Web." The people of de Sanbor brought a powerful vision of the internet out of the military laboratory and into the world. Our first clients included early adopters of new technologies and traditional organizations looking to successfully change the ways they did business; telecoms wanting to economize scale; The World Health Organization developing a first computer network; Defense services groups seeking to replace mechanical methods with digital.
The world grew to know the basic internet, and de Sanbor moved to New York City towards the end of the millennium. There we continued to support organizations seeking to integrate new technologies into core business practices; Financial firms eager for knowledge management tools; retailers working to become "etailers;" media and marketers needing to extend their brands. With each project, through every client, we learned about our clients' cultures, their needs, and their businesses. As the use of technology spread across American culture and throughout the world, so too did de Sanbor Consulting.
Today, de Sanbor Consulting is based in Seattle, Washington and provides services to clients across the United States and Canada. Our work and our research continue to strengthen our expertise in information technology. Our clients give us an ever-deeper understanding of their cultures and of their industries; Healthcare, Finance, Not-for-Profit and Government/Defense. And always, our clients trust in us to bridge the gap between what they do and what they need.
